the fastest stock four wheeler is suposed to be the cannondale. im guessing the moto. but then again it is about twenty three thousand dollars. but if you dnt count that, then its still the cannondale. its supposed to go about 73 stock. which beats the raptor at about 71, and the ds at 71.5. im not too sure on the exact speeds, but they are about mile or 2 off. all i know is that the cannondale is supposed to be the fastest.

 

Stock for stock, in straight line drag races, from what I've found - the Cannondale's are the fastest - even their lowest model, the Cannibal (which retails for $6999). The margin is not huge, mind you...

The Moto does not cost 23K, it's 12K. It's the same engine that's on their lower models, what you're paying for is all the aftermarket goodies. It's really a pretty good deal if you compare buying a new quad and adding all the goodies yourself.

Top speed of the Cannondale models is around 76mph - I've had my Cannibal (which is 100% stock) at the 1/4 asphalt drag strip and that's about where it falls on every run.

Keep in mind there is *FAR* more to choosing the right ATV than power and top speed. In fact, those are probably the worst two qualities to use to make a buying decision for the vast majority of riders.

 

Bone stock the fastest sport bike is a Zilla. The fastest modified with the original engine would be a banshee. That is just my opinion and then again, they are also 2strokers!

Jimbo I agree that is what he meant. I just had to put my two cents in; no matter if it was non informative. I would still place a stock, worn out Zilla against any others thought.

really it does depend on the rider but the new z-400 is sopposed to whoop the moto440 thats sopposed to be the bike right there but there coming out with a new polaris and that will be the fastest stock bike

 

I own a Z400 and it will not beat a Cannon at anything other than being easier to ride in the woods for a new rider. And probably easier maintenance than the Cannondale. Oh and it's cheaper. I paid 5099.00 for mine.
