Helow all,

I'm looking at getting a new quad here pretty soon, and one of the main criteria will need to be that I can actually ride it.

That said, for those of you that live in good old enviro-whacked California, can you please tell me which of the following bikes get "green stickers" and which get red? I am primarily concerned with the first three on the list.

400ex
LT-Z400
Cannondale Cannibal (Glamis gets green, right?)
Banshee (2 stoke, OK, I know this gets red)
DS650
Raptor

THanks in advance for your help!

Marc

400ex ---> green
LT-Z400 ---> green
Cannondale Cannibal (Glamis gets green, right?) ---> call c-dale to make sure.
supposed to be green for 2003.
Banshee (2 stoke, OK, I know this gets red) ---> red 96 and up. green 96 and older
DS650 ---> green
Raptor ---> green

Thrshr, thanks a bunch! I'll confirm with the dealer before I actually buy. I really want that USA edition '03 'dale, so I'll need to research that.

Thanks 83 Honda, that's great info. I'm just trying to find out about these specific bikes. I guess maybe I'll just have to call the dealers.

Thanks,
Marc

Default California Green stickers?

If you buy a 4 stroke that was made for California it gets a green sticker, but there is the trick, alot of places are selling quads from other states because the demand is so high and therefore aren't getting a green sticker. So when you go to buy ask if the quad you are getting is a California quad. I know of a person who bought a Raptor and got a red sticker because of some tricky dealers, dealers like that should be fined, he was not told up front that the quad was an out of state.
