I have a friend of mine who is selling his 1995 polaris 400cc sport, it is not 4wd he is asking 1200 for it and I rode it last weekend in the mud, on trails, and climbed alot of hills, I also took it to a river bed and it seemed like a solid four wheeler. I have an extra 2000 that I can put in to it for any repairs (if need be) or to modify it. Would this be enough money to fix any major problems that could go wrong with it if I purchased it. Is the Polaris Junk??? I am not to familiar with the Polaris. One last thing are the parts for repairs on this model expensive?? I was just needing some info because I do not want to go broke by buying a four wheeler that its parts are all extremly expensive. any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated.

The sport 400's r nice machines. They dont have many problems and r pretty solid. But if you have an extra 2 grand. That make 3200 id go out and buy a better machine. Mabye a 95 banshee or mabye a newer 400scrambler. Something better so that you dont have to worry about problems to fix. But if your still gonna buy the sport its sounds like a good deal

 

Buy it and bump it up to 411cc
