I herd if you put some money into a banshee nothing can stop it.....but the fastest stock quad out there that i herd of would be the canidal 440 blaze i think that was the one or it's one of those damn fast canidals......just i think they cost ALOT!!!!

 

1987-1990 Quadzilla.......... Badest stock quad ever made. When moded it is untouchable.

 

those sites are crocks of sh@t when i see them at a nhra drag strip thats when i belive it! i dont own a quad as slow as the predator except maybe my kids lt 50 ! if i owned one i would be pissed too

 

If a Banshee had a top speed of close to 80 mph, it must take a DAMN long time to get there!

I've drag raced Banshee's, I let off the throttle to let them catch up, and then pinned it so they could watch me leave them... again! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I've also beat numerous piped banshee's out of the gate and to the first corner. If a stock Banshee has a higher top speed than a C-dale, it doesn't matter because I'll be to far ahead for it to catch up in time when it FINALLY reaches that top speed.

 

When are these Banshee guys going to give up? Face it you 20 year old design is falling behind...change is good... I love my 66 pro street chevyII but my convertible lt1 Rocks...It is just new technology at it's best....I would just like to see a far speed shoot out from one of the mags until then... I have to agree, go ride it for yourself ...you and you alone will be the one that has to be happy with your machine..

 

well i do say i would have to agree with mr350x on this subject. jimbo stew, just because a quad is 15 years old don't meen it isn't reliable. i have a 1988 and haven't had a lick of trouble with it other than common maintanence. i have yet to see anything with the stock engine in it (modified or not) beat it. and for all of the money these people are spending on these cannondale's and gas gas quads, you can go get yourself a zilla that is faster, and just as reliable. oh and not to mention looks alot better, they have some sweet paint jobs. for about 3000 dollars less than you guys are all talkin. i have 2 zilla's, one is all stock except for the gearing, and it will do well over 100 and it get there like nothing and has power doing it. i also have a modified zilla, and i will say i do have some trouble with it, but it isn't quite so much suzuki's fault though. ya see. i have trouble keeping the back tires from burning off, ya see it can burn them through 5th gear with out moving forward while my big *** sits on it. tell me what other quad with the origional motor can do that? they might not handle the best, but if speed is what you want they have got it. oh and being arround for 15 years + just shows how reliable they truely are, i have seen more new quads sitting on the side of the trails than i have seen zilla's

 

Actually, everything you own is slower that a Predator and it is obviously killing you...this is not 1988...so sad. This is to the guy stuck in the 80's before there was any high performance 4 strokes...
