some help for my friend
#2
my first quad was a blaster and it was the best beginner quad ever.......well to me anyways. But After 8 months i sold it and got a fast *** raptor but if he get either a Blaster or a warrior i would get a toomey kit on the blaster and a pro circiut kit on the warrior cause then he will luv either one then.......I drove both kinda quads with those kits on em so i know hehe.

Is he buying only new, or is he considering used? If he is considering used, 400EXs are starting to show up in that price range. You can't go wrong with a 400EX for a first quad. Stock, the motor is in a mild state of tune (relative to the bigger and newer sport quads) that won't get a novice in over his head, yet its still quick and as the novice's skills grow and his quest for power grows, there are plenty of aftermarket mods out there to satisfy the need for speed.

yes he is considering new.He was thinking about getting a blaster but we mostly ride banshees, raptor, and i soon to get a predator. So i think the 400ex should suit him, the last thing that i wanyt is for him to get blown away.Keep posting ideas.

A friend mine had a blaster and after a relatively mild crash ended up with a broken grab bar, bent spindle and I think he also bent one of the a-arms.
