Default Warrior Opinions?

I had a warrior a few years ago and it wasnt the best handling quad and couldnt jump, but I rode the mess outta it and it always cranked up, and out ran my friends stock 300ex hondas all day in drag races. But the motor is just plain bullet proof. I never had one problem outta it and it was a 88 model I kept till 98. Oh and I put a set of works shocks on it, they are a MUST!!! Made that thing 10 times better to ride.

Default Warrior Opinions?

The warrior is a good machine. The Works shocks are definitely an important mod. Probably one of the first "big" mods you should make. I think the steering is just fine. My brother likes the way my Warrior steers more than the way his 400ex does.

I have done some work to mine and it can be made to run. I just did a Poker run on Sunday with a buddy who has a KFX400. He could not pull away from me on the straights. My brother who has a 400ex said that I was actually pulling away from him a little.

You can go fast on a Warrior, but you have to work a little more. We are ex dirtbike Hare scramblers so we tend to get a little carried away with speed...for normal to fast riding it is a fun machine in stock form. I was wishing for more suspension travel like that KFX had. At that fast of a pace you notice that first. The Works shocks and 23" front tires helped alot, but made the rear shock feel pretty lame. Before I got the Works shocks in the front the rear shock felt great..now I need it revalved to perform like the fronts.

Hill climbs are no problem as long as you know your limits as a rider....that goes for any quad.
