Default Whats The Best Sport Quad For A Gravel Pit?

Hey thanks for all the replies, I called the number and found out it was sold but im sure another one will come up, I have to sell my rancher anyway. Can anybody tell me what tires to put on for the pit, it is packed down in some areas and soft in others oh and I love sliding so it shouldnt be somthing that grips too much.

Thanks everybody, you really helped

Mark

if you get the ex the stockers should be fine. they are great for sliding and i have no trouble losing traction. i ride on packed gravel packed dirt, packed sand. and lose and and even really lose sand. they work good in all of it.

Have you considered an older Yamaha Wolverine? Mine kicks butt in the gravel pits - that's a completely stock machine. It'll climb hills that a 2wd ATV can't touch, and it's good in the gravel. You can build the SNOT out of the 350cc that's in it too - same motor as a warrior, so there's literally a ton of different mods you can go with for more power. You can get a nice one for $2000.

Also think about an old suzuki quadracer500 (quadzilla). That's going to be my project when I can find one cheap. They are some bad a. quads. Someone said the fastest quad stock of all.

go with a 400EX beacuse you can get them dirt cheap right now. Or get a 300ex beacuse they have revese. It all depends on if you want a kick start two-stroke or a eletric start 4-stroke......................
