Default Z400 Shocks?

Looking for opinions on aftermarket shocks for aggressive trail riding. Trying to decide wether to go cheap with WORKS or spend a little and buy ELKAS

I highly recommend PEP if you can wait for them! Usually a 2-3 month wait.

I got the Works Steelers with cans up front, and am very pleased. And, the Ultracross in the rear.

Since you just trail ride 'aggressivly' i'd say get works.

Elkas would make a difference if you raced MX or XC.

Works will do great for Rec riding, you even don't need the res unless you ride for long periods of time without stopping.

You really don't like your stockers that much? They feel a bit soft, but other than that they are great IMHO.

I just had my rear shock rebuilt buy Elaka ZPS droped it about 3". Very nice not a bad price at $375. I have ZPS works shocks up front. I like them, they droped it about 3" also.
