Yeah I would think so considering it will hang with the Banshee in stock form but not beat it.

no quad is made for only one thing. maybe the ds because it stands for dune sport. i think its pitiful because the lack of low end cant be fixed or ignored. i ride with banshees in the trails and my LT265 smoked them in the trails, even my buddies ozark could go threw more mud than the banshee, let alone my LT. BANSHEE'S SUCK THE FAT ONE ON THE TRAILS, but are the shizz on wide-open roads.IMO

but do you think the average guy can afford to get a whole new cylinder to fix the stupid problem. not really personally i think its a waste of good money, that stuff is too expensive for my blood. i would rather put it somewheres else where there is no lacking of anything. i think banshees are better for WIDE-OPEN areas like fire-roads or streets.

Anyway unless you are talking very tight trails the Banshee will do just fine...Not the best but not the worst either...Pitifull doesnt apply here unless you dont have the skills to ride one...

Default banshee vs. lt-250

It all comes down to preference with quads ive had both a banshee and an lt250r. The banshee is alot more thrilling due to the fact the power isnt as controllable. Its kinda a rush to roll on the throttle and rev it to the moon. However the lt is far more practical cost and handling wise. For the price youd pay for a banshee you could set up an lt250 pretty nice. My lt weighs a 100lbs less than a banshee so the extra 100 cc makes them pretty equal in power. The only place a shee owns is in open areas, i hope evreyone can agree on that. I think you have to beat on a banshee alot harder to get it to do what you want(i see shees all the time pissing anti freeze from riding them too hard), with an lt, things seem much more effortless. Get 2 riders of the same experience and the lt rider will shine. No really! Quads were made to go on all types of terrain hence the name "all terrain vehicle" but banshees suck on most terrain so you make your choice. IM not bashing the banshee they are sweet but they have their place.
