Default How deep ??

Help...How deep has anyone gone on an Eiger ? My buddy and I were out last weekend on our Eigers and we came across some pretty deep water holes. I stopped when I had water a few inches above the pegs. I did not continue for fears of water flooding engine components. Does anyone has a real suggestion for maximum depth for an Eiger ? We could certainly use your help...We would love to get to the other side of the river...

I have rode down powerlines at night on my Eiger with my lights on but did not matter if i had them on or not because they were under water! Almost felt like i was just floating across the water which I think i was for a few seconds!

just don't go above the gas tank. The air intake should be just below where the handle bars mount. My cousin has a honda rancher that will actually float for quite a while wnd keep running. Maybe the eiger will do this too. If you're spending a lot of time in water though, you have to pay a lot of attention to wheel bearings, bushings, and drum brakes, because they will get trashed pretty quick. If you're going in the deep water a lot, make sure to grease everything often and liberally.
