Thanks for the info on the 87 intake. This is the year I have and if I ever see my motor it was suppose
to have a tudors reed cage. I guess I will order the right one. I will look tonight to see if I have a extra intake boot. I know I have the one for mine because I ordered a new one with the motor. but I
can't trust that I will get it.

Well something positive happened with the Reed cage issue i had. Moto Tassinari Contacted Tudors and Talked with Jeff about the different set up they have for the 87 lt500r v-force reed valve. They are actually gonna ship out a few new Designed Cages and reeds for the 87 machine, over too Jeff at Tudors. Where he will use the custom Manifold he makes with them. They are also gonna send him My reed valve which is going to be set up like how M0to Tassinari suggests but with Jeffs Manifold. I guess im gonna be the ginnie Pig, so to speak, and test this thing out.
Sounds good EH?
I will leave feedback as to how it works out in future posts.
I actually want to thank Jeff Tudor and Scott from Moto Tassinari for comming up with this plan. So there actually may be Some good that comes out of this for the 87 Zilla riders out there.

I have one the Vito made me from the Moto Tasari V force cadge and it work's great,I'm sure Jeff's will work GREAT also.I've had mine sice 1999,work's great with the intake that I made from a Boysen rad valve intake.I cut off the reed cage part and where the carb meet's the intake ( intake nozzle),bought some aluminum and had it welded together like the rubber intake,Plus I added a reed spacer to it and had that welded on it,it make's really good power alot better then the rubber intake.

Man I am sorry. No dice. My cuz called on Monday and said he cut his up to mount the 88 v-force to his 87. I even looked up in my attic and didnt find it. I found some crazy stuff like the orignal shock with the gold valve and the stock carb... but not what you need. OSrry man I tried. If you go for a beat down on this guy I would help though!!!!
