Default Beware of TUDORS!!!!

I setup a page on my website so we can hopefully avoid this in the future. Its a link page to manufactures, resellers, machine shops, ect... If you don't see a company that you have dealt with it the past submit it. Then you can vote and leave comments about the company. Hopefully this will stop the horror stories that I see out here way to often. You do not need to register to submit a company vote or leave comments. If you do register it allows you some more permissions to edit your links that you have posted.

zigzilla good luck with your motor. My buddy found a crack in the case when it got back (where the casesaver bolt goes in the inside of the case was cracked) He is not sure however if it was like that before it left to Tudors he is getting it fixed locally today with a 1 day turn around (gotta love local shops). I added Tudors on the link page so you can say your peace.

I read your opinions in this forum and it sounds 100% like the experience I'm having with
Jeff Tudor. I sent him my 87 lt500 motor back in June 2003 and I was told 4-6 weeks and I still do not
have a motor. I also gave him $1000.00 deposit obviosly a big mistake. I call every day with no answer
and the couple times I get him on the phone I always get the same thing, it will be done next week.
After reading all the info that has been posted I now feel that all my fears that this guy is a crook
are true.

I read through your opinions and this souds 100% acurate. I sent Jeff Tudor my motor In June
of 2003 with the promise it would be done in 4-6 weeks I STILL HAVE NO MOTOR!! After reading all this info it looks like my fears of getting stroked instead of my motor are true and what am I going to get
back if he does ever finish it.

Oops!! Sounds like you shoulda done a search before hand, since this is way back in May of 03. That's what sucks about owning a Zilla. Hardly anyone else does, so getting good info about companies is getting harder and harder. I think that's why the majority are now bolt-ons, and hardly any big strokers.

Slimmer, I wish you luck man.... Jeff is really hard to get a hold of...He never returns calls. I finally finished my ride and the motor is strong. I do have to say that he does decent work but getting him moving is another story. I wish you saw the thread before you sent out the motor. I hate to say it but you probably wont see your motor till next yaer. He has you by the ***** right now and is laughing all the way to the bank. Sorry man....and i wish you luck. Just make sure you save every E-mail , letters, receipts and cashed checks for when you have to take him to court.

If I was going thru that I'd just show up. After takin my motor back I'd get my thousand bucks worth, and probably the plane ticket's worth too.

I'm at least glad to hear that your motor runs

As far as taking a road trip let me tell you it has crossed my mind more than once.
Actually my freinds are more pissed than me.
I Ride with 10 other guys with 500's and they want to beat on the guy. Think of all the business
he could of had if things were done on time. At least LRD told me the truth 3-4 months. I still
have 2 other Quads to ride, I just have to be a back of the pack Jack instead of front row Joe.

Believe me a road trip is not out of the question. I ride with 10 other guys with
500's and they want to drive me down to Jeffs for a little thumping. Most of them
are more pissed than me. I guess I am to easy going thats probably why Jeff puts me off
