Default Beware of TUDORS!!!!

The fact is that Moto Tasinarri will make a v-force reed cage for the 87 zilla. (The correct one i might add)
The one Tudors is offering is a 87 manifold with a smaller cage stuck in it.
I have contacted Moto tasinarri about this and they have talked with tudors about what he is selling and have explained to him that what he is offering is a tad bit small and weak. I ordered the one from Tudors not knowing this. Received it and used it for a couple rides , then Bang!!! The reeds blew up. After inspecting it, All the reeds were broke. One got sucked right into the intake and is somewhere in my cylinder. Thats when i contacted Moto Tasinarri and sent them what i had purchased for their inspection of the product. Thats when they told me it was the wrong set up for the 87 zilla. They called Tudors and From my understanding this was supposed to be taken care of. Well 2 months later im still waiting.
Moto Tasinarri have been more than helpfull to me and are trying to get in touch with Tudors to make things right. Mr. Tudor does not want to answer his phone nor does he reply to e-mails or reply to any messages sent. This is ticking me off!!!!! Looks like i got screwed again!!!
I was thinking of just picking up a pyrimid reed cage from Duncan Racing. Does anyone have anything to say about Duncan Racing Reed valves?

Hey Zig,

WOW!!!! Sure sorry to hear about your troubles with this guy! He's sure got the 'puppy' shop mentality...
I've talked with him on the phone regarding his (Totally worthless) copper head gaskets... and his 'no blow' base gaskets... He's got a real chip on his shoulder.

I've got a Duncan Pyramid valve with very little use on it i'd sell ya for a reasonable price if your interested... It worked fairly well.

It's my humble opinion that the stock cage with a good quality reed petal installed (No carbon fiber, or dual stage garbage) with ~3mm trimmed off the reed stops, stops spread so they barely fit inside the cylinder, and using a 3/8" reed spacer will provide you the best bang for your buck...
But again... that's just my $.02

Let me know if you want to discuss the PT part... It's just sitting in my parts bin.
