These came on my 91 LT250r

the reeds are carbon fiber and the reed cage looks stock

That is not a stock intake, it looks like a boyseen Rad Valve or an FMF Ram Valve. I'm not sure what kind of reeds they are, but they dont look like boyseen. BTW the stock intske is rubber, that one looks like aluminum.

Yup its aluminium. Its also one piece. In the diagram the stock intake and reed cage are sperate pieces.

I found a picture of a Boyeson Rad Valve and it looks identical to mine.

I have a boyeson rad valve and it looks exactly like mine. Someone painted that one though because rad valves come without paint. I would remove the paint and polish it they look sweet polished, keep or sell it its worth 100 bucs or more.

Defenatly Boyesen Rad valve Unclear picture of reeds but they need to be replaced anyhow I also suggest stripping the paint as you may need the stamping # on the Rad Valve to get the correct replacements which should be available in carbon fiber or std material.Text

those reeds are definetely Boyseen Pro Series Reeds, i just got some for my lt250r.
The cage looks like a Boyseen Rad valve not sure though?

throw those away and get a V-FORCE redd cage and bolt on k&n
