Theory on frame cracking
Just read in the polaris forum that a pred 500 frame is cracking.
This makes me think... Maybe these quads just arnt designed for the abuse that
racing puts them through. (like 250Rs were back in the day)
Is it possible that frames are made from a lighter but weaker steel mix that is contributing?
(to save weight due to the heavier 4 stroke motors)
Admiting that Im not a yamaha guy, I have not heard about a banshee or raptor frame cracking yet.
(coincidence? better quality metal? same goes for Hondas. rarely do we hear about an EX frame cracking)
Not a flame. Just an observation.
