Good idea, if I were anyone with any new quad I'd think about this but go over the welds yourself if you can weld and if not have a friend gussett it. I would think about some good shocks Elka has a complete suspension shocks, A-arm, and swingarm for around $2000 if you have that kind of money. Also Yoshimura has a complete 450 kit but if you it's aver $2000 and you can probably find a locan atv mechanic who can bore and stoke it pretty cheap. Make sure to get a bigger carb it will give you a lot more top end. The 450 kit from Yoshimura with the a bigger carb gives you over 47 horsepower. You can get your's bored to a 440 or 450 than a lot of these bigger companies but there's has probably got a better warranty. Thanks for the gusset idea qwerty, ol chum you're always so quick to help us z400 owners it almost brings me to tears, thanks (sarcasm intended).

Woops, sorry about that one sentence, I meant if you get the Yoshimura kit it's over $2000 and you can probably find a local atv mechanic to bore it out for you a lot cheaper. Sorry about the bad spelling.

Kiwi
