What gearing are you running on your built quadzilla? I would like to know what you are using for both paddle and dirt tires. Thanks for your input. BTW I am running a stage IV engine with hi comp.

I run on small in the front for beter quickness because it is hauling a BIG load on it's back!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

when I had mine I went down 1 tooth from stock in the front and had 22" tires. I had the cylinder ported high comp. a pipe and had a khein carb that was bored. I rode it on the streets and in the woods. hope this helps.

 

What was the stock gearing on the Zilla? Tick how does your LRD zilla run, what kind of pipe do you have on there?

87 stock gearing was 13 , 42 . 88-90 was 13 , 40 . for the trails and stuuf i run a 13 -42 with 20 inch tires . for dirt drags and sand drags i run a 14 - 42 with 22 inch tires . i rearly run a 12 tooth because of the low end of the bike . 1st gear is about useless with 20 inch tires .

 

i run 14 /38 with 18 inch tires and it seems to work good

 

I run 14/42 w/22 inch tires in dirt, trail, and race. In sand I 12/42 w/22 inch paddles, the sand just sucks the power if I use a larger frnt gear
