Default z400 sprocket change

ok now that i've got my yoshi and prodesign filter, i need to make some more changes..like everyone says, you go up a tooth and lose the bottom end, go down a tooth and lose the top end. well i think i've got enough low end now to go up a tooth or 2...i can't believe how much bottom end torque and power this thing has now..i'd just like to spread it out a little bit....can you guys please tell me what the best sprocket combination is from stock? i want to retain some most of the bottom but gain some on top

Stock, the Z has a 14/40 sprocket combo. If you want to add a little top end then change the rear sprocket to a 39, if you want drastic top end change the front sprocket to a 15. The front sprocket is a bigger jump than the back. For every tooth up front is about 2.5 teeth in the rear. Hope this helps you.
