Default Z250 or kawie mojave?

i have never rode either...but just by the way each is set up...i would not even think about the Z 250 unless it was 10 times faster or handled 10 times better. Since it doesnt, i will tell u why i would go with the mojave...It has a way more advanced engine that actually has some potention to be fast, and It has chain drive ( ability to change gearing other than just tires ). The mojave could grow with you because u could mod it to keep up with the need for speed...The z250 can not be made as fast as the mojave. Also, the main reason i would go with the mojave...the Manual clutch...I think everyone should learn on one if they are interested in racing. My opinion...

Hey man not saying your wrong, but i think the z250 is 52mph,mojave 55mph.The mojave is manual clutch,so it will be quicker and suspension is a little better on the mojave, but the z does handle better.

Nope the z's top speed is 55. My dads four wheeler was maxed out and so was mine. He was going 55 and i was right next to him.

Even if that was right which it isnt, would that 1 mph really make it a better quad, honestly? Ever think that your dads speedo could be off? So for a minute lets say that the z really is that 1 mph faster.... the mojave is still quicker, has a manual clutch, has chain drive, engine has way more potential, handles better, and has a better suspension. Even if the z is 1 mph faster i would still choose the mojave for the reasons above.

THe fact still remains that you are buying an old quad if you buy the kaw as for the chain dv vs shaft they both have there places. Remeber the z25o is an entry level and ment to learn on. Of course if you desperatly need a clutch (which is abunch of bunk on being superior)then there are now manufactures who make an aftermarket clutch that is hydrolic. My buddy has had the kaw for years and had no problems until he tryed to mod it,it just wouldn't hold up. By the way he had a very reputable shop do the work.

A Z250 feels like a 125cc kiddie quad compared to the Mo for straightline speed. Top speed tests are bunk anyhow, it takes 10 minutes to change the sprocket on the Mo, how long does it take to change the gearing on the Z, oh wait nevermind. lol.
