i was wondering which would be better at handleing and speed and of coarse wheelies!?

 

i would go wit the z250 only cuz kawasaki is more dirtbikes and not so much atvs...disregarding their new kfx 400. suzuki = better

 

Z wins this easily. Lighter, designed 20 years later, much better suspension and handling, looks muuuuuuuch better, no chain or clutch to mess with, more aftermarket parts, yada yada yada...

 

the mojave is a very underated quad. It is the quicker quad of the two. It has a liquid cooled dual overhead cam motor running with 11:1 compression. The z will handle better but as far as suspension goes the mojave has 6 inches up front and 8 in the the back while the z has 6 in the front and back. I would go with the sportier quad the mojave although kawasaki could make it alot better.

 

i wud def pick the z250 ova the mojave ne day. i dunt usally hear nething sbout the mojave but i heard alot about the z250 like its easy to handle, does relly good wheelies, can keep up wit bigger quads and i know it beats a honda 250ex and i heard its juss as fast as a blaster. so to make it short i wud rather pick the z250 lol

 

both are good machines. personally i would go with the mojave. one of the most underrated quads out there. its quicker than the z. it will hang with 400ex's with just a couple mods(pipe, filter, jet....) it actually has a fair amount of aftermarket you just have to search a little harder for it. it responds very well to mods. the only thing i dont like about mine is that the headlight is a pos! dont expect to do any night riding at all unless you are just putting around. i have heard of the kick starter being a problem with some but mine is good starts up on first or second kick. im not dissin the z at all, i have never rode one. just my .02 get the mojave

 

i think if you choose a z250 over a mojave you are very foolish. the z250 is nowhere close to blaster speed,and will not be able to hang with any big boys with any mods. but if u take the airbox off the mojave it will definetly beat the blaster hands down, believe me i do it all day. the z 250 is ok, dont get me wrong, but it's just a 250 ex copycat, and the 250 ex isnt anything worth copying. with the shaft drive it just can't compare, look in the latest atv shooutouts that have mojave, blaster, z250 and 250ex the mojave always gets first then the blaster then the z and then the ex. if u throw cams and springs on a mojave (like mine) it will be able to run with warriors, like mine does, thats something the z250 can't do.and by the way, some idiot said kawasaki wasnt as good as suzuki in the begining of this thread --to that idiot-they are practically the same company, they work on most of their quads and dirtbikes together and share the technologies they have between each other

i have a 94 mojave and the only things that have went wrong are stuff caused by age and wear like bearings and piston rings and the shocks need to be rebuilt but it's 1994 mojave they didn't have good shock technology back then. THIS THING HAULS

 

I would suggest riding both if you can. I have a Mojave that has some mods done to it. And I like it. As far as lights go, the stock light is just that, a 35w light[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I had my stator rewound, and put 2 PIAA's on it. Man does it turn night into day[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But, like I said, if you are in between what you want, ride both and make your decision that way, Good luck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
