I don't have a cylinder at all. I was given this quad from a guy that was just getting it out of his garage. So that is my dilema.

I disagree Tom, at least partially.... I've found some really good parts on Ebay... but ya gotta be careful, and ask a BUNCH of questions, to make sure you understand what you're buying..
'cause there is junk out there too.

Sossei, I've got an '85 cylinder, but that won't do you any good... It would need sleeved too, but that's not the end of the world... In fact, if I were looking, I'd probably sleeve it anyway.... Gotta do the big bore thing ya know!?!?! There's No replacement for displacement!

Thanks anyways Dune. I'm just trying to find a good used one before I buy a new one. I work at a shop in NM so I can get it at cost, but just wanted to see if anyone has one for sale that I can pickup for cheap.

I just bought an 87 cylinder off of ebay and waiting for it to come in. Cheaper than a re-sleeve as mine is on the last overbore. I'm not too afraid of the ebay thing, just ask questions and try to qualify the seller. I've sold more than I've bought on ebay so the blanket statement that you'll get screwed would have to apply to me which it doesn't. That would make me a shady rascal. No caps. Anyway, the '87 cylinder is a unique year with a larger intake, so beware of that when buying.
