hard start

any of you good old boys know why my 1990 250 quadrunner starts hard when hot, comp. good, what should the air screw be set at? tks.

i think what your problem is that the coil is getting way to hot. try wrapping some heat tape around the coil to keep the heat from the engine heating it up.

I think u need to look it through.Look closely.Is the eng extreamely hot ,is ot on air cooled or liquid.im not to fimialiar wit the quad.
