Default another potential Z400 problem??

i was out riding yesterday in wells maine and while looking over the quad i noticed my chain was a little loose.
as i preformed the myriad of tasks to comlete this simple feat,i noticed that when i started to tighten the bolt on the chain tightener stud, the stud rotated along with the bolt.i put my finger into the axle carrier to feel for the other end of the stud,i couldent find it,so just for the hell of it i pulled the stud and it came out, at least half of it did.anyhoo, the break was so clean that it looked like if you snapped a glass rod in half.
and it did not matter how tight the carrier bolts were because the axle would pull to the front and the chain would be loose again.i swear i will NEVER buy a suzuki again.if i had the means, i would get a 400 EX and swap motors.

Dude that sucks. I've still not had any problems except for a couple of wrecks we just unsnapped some of my plastic. Anyways I'm not one to tell someone to stick with something just because I like it but dude if I were you I'd trade it in getting a yfz450 instead of the ex. Well if you ever race but the ex is hard to beat for an everyday quad.
