Default Questions about Quadzilla!

OK I have heard alot about the Quadzilla, and everybody I talk to say this is a very mean quad! What years did they make this machine? What is the top speed, I have heard it was 87mph stock. How good is acceleration? Would it be worth it to sell my 02 Eiger and buy one and fix it up? A 500 2stroke sounds very good to me, are there plenty of mods out there to make it alot faster? Those are most of my questions, i really love my Eiger!! But a Quadzilla keeps on coming back in my mind.

man if you have a chance to get one dont hesitate! those things rip. it was made from 87-90(maybe 86????) the top speed is around 85 stock, wicked acceleration, i would sell an eiger for it without a doubt. there are many good mods for it. i have only rode one once but made an impression i will never forget. it also has very good low end for a big bore 2-stroke. it isnt very heavy weighing around 392 pounds dry. it is big but not heavy. no reverse but with a quad like this you can definately do without.

i got a zilla last week as my first quad and yep its an animal, at the mo im getting used to it in wide open spaces cos it gets verry fast very quickly, i find its that quick at getting to full speed i just cant accept that this thing is moving at over 80 miles per hour,

good fun for the insane and an excelent cure for sanity,

its at the tuning shop this week getting a go on the dino and probably having some jetting done, its had a few mods before i got it but im not sure what sort of difference there making above standard spec and ive never ridden a standard Zilla or any other quad for that matter so i dont know what to expect from the dino runs.

Should be interesting tho,

Man, talk about comparing a V-10 Viper on NOS to a 1969 peterbuilt... The differences are huge.
You sure you'd want to do that?

Default Questions about Quadzilla!

I have had two Utilitys. Mudding and trailriding is about all I have done for the past 5 years. I rode a Z400 not to long ago and just felt so good, very small feeling after riding a Eiger but it was awesome. I just want something fast I guess, Ill end up keeping the Eiger prolly. Sport quads look so much fun, but im scared if i did get one i would get tired of it.

There's nothing like the rush of opening the throttle on a 500 and hanging on for dear life. I have a few mods on mine, nothing too radical, and I shaved some weight off it. Clocked it @ 93.7mph. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. If you get the chance to get a hold of one, grab it.
