i need a part numer for a throttle cable for a LT500 to use a keihin carb instead of the stock mikuni. can a stock LT500 throttle cable be used?

 

They do require different cables. Call LRD or CT racing

 

i bought new recently a carb fo rmy quadzilla. And i had to switch around a few things.like teh choke on my original carb was working on a lever. the new carb was on a cable which it didnt have and i didnt have a leave any way so i put my stock choke on.and the top cover of the carb on the new was needed a diffrent cable.the way it hooks up and all.so i put my old one one.You might have ot switch a few things and there.

 

i called LRD after posting, they have a cable custom made by motion pro.... $24 plus shipping.
i'm not looking at it for a 500, i figured the 500 has a longer cable than the 250 & i need a little longer cable. i'm converting my Gas Gas to a thumb throttle and know i can buy a used thumb throttle off ebay for about +/-$30...
i'll also consider using a TRX or banshee throttle if there is a cable that is 40-44 inches long(housing length) to fit a single keihin PWK 38mm carb.
