Good lord, 175 to put a couple shocks, a-arms, and a swingarm on? Is it that your time is too valuble and the going rate it 60 -70 bucks an hour? I mean lets be honest, it takes all of 2-3 hours to put some a-arms and a swingarm on? And thats being generous

I was talking to the person who owns the Sparks Z this weekend, he says Curtis is putting 15 more horse power to Josh's Z so look out. They are going to FWIII. You forgot to mention the kid from the Kawasaki shop who is just as fast if not faster than Josh. Lost to both bikes.

 

my z keeps up with my yz 450f bike until 4th gear and every 1 says mod for mod but there aint many you can do to a 450 cam advance ,filter and exuast and thats about it cant really go bigger bore and stay legal cams dont make any difference in the bike allready has hi comp and a fcr so you tell me were you guys are going mod for mod? not to say i dont love the power of my bike but my z is faster than the yz motor would b in the quad

 

Short of investing a butt-load of money into the engine you can't beat the yzf450. Motor and all its got the Z beat my miles. For crying out loud you got the yzf 450 stock beating or keeping up with every top ATV out there. piped DS 650's ,Predator's Raptor's and banshees. And this quad is stock. The Z has problems trying to keep up with these bikes even with mods and these bikes are getting beat by the yzf 450 in drags and espially on the track. You better have deep pockets to keep up or even think about beating a stock yzf 450. Add a simple pipe and rejet the yzf and now its almost impossible. You can't compare the motor of the yzf450 to that of the z. Even though there only 30cc a part .There technologies and there hp numbers are light years apart. This is the quad to revolutionize the ATV industry after all.
