A buddy of mine just bought a used 01 LT 160, and the guy he bought it from gave him a brand new SuperWinch 2000.

I haven't seen the quad yet but he can't figure out where it would mount. Also, he is unable to find a mounting bracket for it. Is this because the LT is not designed for a winch, or is he just missing something?

I and he appreciate any help you all could give us on mounting this winch!! Thanks!!

 

I looked up and a winch isnt a accessory you can get for the 160 so the quad isnt made for a winch

 

I thought that it probably wasn't a real workhorse, I did some more research, and it looks like an entry level utility quad. He is going to use it around his yard pulling a small trailer, and was going to use the winch to pull limbs and such.

If we can rig up a mount, do you all think that the stator on this quad can handle the demands of running the winch. I'm sure we can figure out some way to mount it, but would hate to burn up the stator because it isn't big enough.
