Hey, I was the first one to jump in a unique pool filled with a radical world which creates wonderful things for decades to come. Before I did this, there was something similar to this pool, but noone had quite made a pool with water like this one. It represented "infinite" and and a wonder of adrenaline. For a certain breed, it would change things for ever. Besides, the one before it was too shallow and wouldn't hold up much longer. Well, this new pool was very deep and would last for eternity and be built upon. Well, the idea of it existed, but noone ever really jumped in. Back in 1985, I dove right in and created a brand new way of using the pool. The following years other people made their way into the water, but one day I just quit coming. It was just hard to make your way in, too many obstacles in the way. I haven't been back for years, but am aware that people are changing their techniques at the pool and swimming different ways. I am happy to hear, however, that our old techniques still dominate competition. Our old breed still dominates, but there are new people coming that bring new possibilities. I am thinking about returning. I just have to sit down, think, and work it all out. It's still amazing to think that I was the first one to ever jump in. It's just sad that I quit going. It really is sad. I get letters and calls where others tell me to return, but something keeps me from listening. With all these new people, my return is in high demand, yet I don't go. It is sad. Hopefully someday I will return and build upon what I started. Until then, I leave others hanging.

RidE, sometimes you make sense, and sometimes I think you are a recreational chemist. If you could, please explain what the heck you are talking about here. Also, where do you get your info on new Kawasaki's and Suzuki's being two strokes. That would be awesome, but I don't think it will happen. I think Kawasaki will have a medium sized(400-500)four stroke in an awesome chassis, and Suzuki will have nothing. Just my guess.

I was the first one to jump into and create the world of high performance quads. A radical world which created a wonderful sport for decades to come. At the time, ATCs defined hi-performance, but it looked as if 3 wheelers were dying out and wouldn't be in production much longer. ATV racing was now born! It represented infinite possibilities and a wonder of adrenaline. For a certain breed of ATVers, it would change things for ever. Besides, it seemed as if ATCs didn't have much of a future and their sport wouldn't hold up as strongly as a quad world may. They were fast, but maybe, just maybe we could make a quad just as good, just as fast, and possibly even...better? Well, this sport we creatd would begin to skyrocket and had a strong future which quads would evolve and ATV racing would only improve. Well, this idea of it existed, but noone ever really attempted to make a quad which could compete with the ATCs. Back in 1985, I dove right in and created a brand new way of riding a 4-wheeled off road ATV. The following years it got very competitive as other manufacturers made thier own high performance quads, in the late 80's everyone was almost forced to discontinue their manufacturing of 2-strokes, and sadly enough, in 1992, we had to discontinue our LT250R Quad Racer. It was just hard to make your way through the environmental battles against 2-strokes and their emissions, too many issues. I haven't returned into this hi-perf ATV world, but am aware that new possibilities and hi-performance quads themselves are changing. I am happy to hear, however, that our old quads strange enough still dominate competition. 2-strokes still dominate, but there are new quads popping up that bring new possibilities to our future. I am daydreaming about the return of the Quad Racer. I just have to sit down, think, and work it all out. How could I make a modern Quad RAcer, what would I have to change and should it be improved upon? If so, how? It's still amazing to think that I actually created the world of high performance ATVs. It's just sad that the Quad Racer has been discontinued and its loyal fans haven't gotten a new glimpse for ages from me. It really is sad. I get letters and calls where others tell me to return, but something keeps me from listening. With all these new quads, and the Banshee being the closest to our old ways, my return is in high demand, yet I don't return. It is sad. Hopefully someday I will return and build upon what I started. Until then, I leave riders hanging.
For the riders, sincerely yours, Suzuki

Aha! Now that makes a little more sense. You must be a deep thinker or a poet for your day job! I agree with you that the founder of the sport we enjoy today has not made any effort whatsoever to keep it alive. Also if you remember way back to 91 and 92, the speculation that they were only selling backlogged units that they already had on hand(leftover 1990 units). Some say that is why there was no Quadzilla(although I think service departments were just tired of them taking up space) and that means they were just trying to make a buck before giving up on it alltogether.

A while back i was in the local Suzuki dealership and i overheard a phone conversation where he was talking to a customer. He told the customer that Yamaha was coming out with a new sport quad for 2001 and that Suzuki "has a quadracer for next-year." He didn't know of any details only that it was going to be a four-stroke. He also said it will likely be fuel-injected. This is just what i heard from the dealer, i have no idea if he knows what he is talking about.
