ok... this makes sense...except for what does detonation mean??

Also, as of now, i am running Bel-Ray MC1 mixed at 50:1 with 93 octane gas...the only performance parts i have is a pipe. I was thinking of getting the head shaved because i heard it was really cheap and maybe a porting job if i can find someone to do it really cheap. What should i do different with my fuel/oil? Should i go to 87 octane?? Oh, and also, i am switching to Klottz Super 2 stroke oil. I just want to know what you think
