Anyone having trouble with tie rod ends on their Vinson? I have busted mine loose several times now. The first time, it must have jumped some threads or crushed a bushing, not sure. All I had to do was tighten the nut and it has been fine until today. Smacked a tree root pretty hard on the trail today and the tie rod end came loose again where the ball joint comes through the flange on the steering stem. I tightened it up again and after a few minutes of riding, it was loose again. I'm now thinking that maybe the threads are stripped. I may double nut it before replacing the part. Anybody have a suggestion or have similar problems?

 

i put locktite on mine. havent had a problem since
