I have a chance to buy either a Quadzilla or Tecate. I do a lot of woods riding with sharp turns but go to the dunes every now and then. Which one would accelerate faster, jumps better, turn better, and better top speeds. I also like a lot of power and I am 6'2" and about 190 pounds. Any input would be helpfull. Thanks.

 

If you want power and ride dunes--Definately the quadzilla
If you want to take sharp turns--I'd take the tecate

 

Okay I'm likn' the Zilla what kind of aftermarket parts should i get to really get it to rip? Thanx for the help.

Okay it is an '88 wadda bout those aftermarket parts. It already has an fmf pipe and silencer but I really wanna make it rip.

 

88s have the 7 stud head. (good thing)

I dont know if you have ridden it yet... but for woods riding.. you wont need to WAKE it up.
It will wake you up.

 

yeah, definitely go with the Zilla. There are lots more parts available for them than the Kawi. Almost everything you can still get new from the Suzuki dealer for the Zilla, where as Kawi discontinued almost everything for the Tecate.

 

Trinityracing.com and Duncan racing you could get porting done from trinity and k&n air filters and adapters and ou twears ffrom duncan.Pipes From both.Well Just check out the sites and youll see

 

Definately get the Zilla. The tecates were notoriously unreliable. Thats why you don't see very many of them.
