The "its a utility with sport fenders" is the newest catch phrase from an uninformed person (We all know who I am referring too.). I own both a Z250 and an Ozark. They do have some similarities, just like the Recon and the 250EX, but the Z250 is NOT a utility Quad with Sport plastic. The Z is 37lbs lighter than the Ozark, has a better free flowing airbox and exhaust, has a lighter crankshaft, which allows it to rev faster, adjustable front shocks, a reservoir rear shock, aluminum wheels with sport style tires. The rear shock location has been moved to give it more travel. The power difference over the Ozark is very noticeable and the Z's handling is several steps above the Ozark's.
As far as whether or not the Z250 would be a good quad for you, given your size, I would say it would be the ideal quad for you, as long as your skill level is equal to its abilities.

I think your going to find that most of these posts are going to be positive responses from Z owners, in other words it's going to be tough getting "bad" reviews from people that own or haven ridden one. This is because this quad is a great choice all-around, and is built to suit the needs of entry level riders to true enthusiats. Now it's true, the Z did get alot from the Ozark, mostly proven reliability. The suspension, engine, weight, motor, and look recieved special attention and got the modifications it needed to give it noticable sport performance. Did I mention, it's actually affordable. I agree with RPM, being your size and weight I would have to say, it might be a little much to handle at first, but you could definitely grow into it.
BTW - what else are you looking at? It's always good to compare...
