Sam250r, you wont have any problems with the frame cracking there anymore. I just welded mine up last night. Mine was probably cracked in the same place. I didnt gusset though because I woudnt be able to reinstall my DG nerf bars. AC nerfbars might fit on yours though, I think they are a little smaller and the crossbar would pass behind the gusseted area. Nice work.

bigugly i bought the bike with the roost boost on it but. i was working on it and onpluged it and checked the spark, and the bike makes a lot more spark with the roost boost on it. hey i got the works shocks and the axle , and rims. but i ordered a 92 axle becouse thats what i have but i guass my lt had a older axle on it becouse the hubs and axle nuts dont work on it so now i have to ordered hubs for it. becouse, my old axle has 24 splines and the dura blue has 26, so it wont work , man that makes me mad. eney way hows your lt coming along?

Kruzoffman, before you order hubs, do you have a lot of wheels that fit the lt pattern? You may want to change to the 4 lug bolt pattern that most other quads have for ease of finding wheels. I am knot possitive on this but it is worth looking into. If anyone knows for sure on this, please let us know.

I have mine put back together and test rode it today. I took the airbox lid off also, it is a little louder and seems to run a little better. I think the person before me had the carb jetted for running with the lid off. I am thinking of getting a K&N that mounts direcly to the carb without the airbox , plus an outerwear. I will get a picture up soon although it wont win any beauty contest it is not ugly either.

Thanks, bigugly. I'm thinking of adding something similar where stoopidass's frame broke.

i think the z400, kfx400 and the new 400 from artic cat comes with honda style 4/110 but not shure though. if they are the same i dunno if they would work because i dunno the # of splines on these axles and if they would match up

Sam250, that is an ugly break on stoopidass's quad. I am thinking about adding something to mine now also. Sounds like that is a common spot for breaking.

Kruzoffman, been rainy here but I will get the new picture up soon. That IRS lt250 does look bad to the bone, I wander how they went from chain to shaft drive. Looks like a lot of fun.
