Was400, thanks for the help, sounds like getting the hubs shouldnt be a problem, i was just curious to see if it would be worth while to change the hubs to Honda style if there was a bigger supply of wheels, new and used to draw from. When I look on ebay there are sometimes a couple pair of lt wheels and tires, but a ton to choose from for the trx's.
I am going to start another post on the interchangeability of shocks. I would like to upgrade mine but man they are expensive.

Kruzoffman, check the size or wattage of your bulb, I am thinking a 55 to 60 watt is about right. Could be loose connection, bad switch, bad socket, or bad stator. Check the voltage you are getting and all of your connections.

I have heard that the LRD and Paul Turner pipes work really well with lt250r's. I still have an FMF on mine, I am thinking about repacking the silencer.

Kruzzoffman, thanks for the complement on my lt.
I don't know much about the Tecate except that they weren't made for very long so probably hard to get parts for. I havent heard anything bad about them and if you had one you would probably get a lot of looks. I have seen a few pictures of them restored and they look really nice.

The Tecates were the fastest of the 250cc two strokes. The problem with them is that they only made the quad for 2 years and kawasaki has stopped producing parts for it. They look really cool, though.
