Default Eiger and Warn winch

I ran across a good deal on a Warn A2000 winch for my
2003 Eiger 4x4 and I was wondering what anyone has
to say about this winch . Mainly I was wondering how
well this winch takes to water?

The Warn winches are good, as are the Ramseys. If you connect them right, water should not be a major concern, assuming you dont sink your quad at the bottom of a lake for a while. As for the poundage, I would get a bigger winch if possible, Warn I know makes a 2500 and Ramsey makes a 3000 pound. If you really sink your quad, you are going to need all the help you can get to get it out.

The warn A2000 was a good winch but the new line of warn winches are a step above and def. the way to go. I have a warn 2.5ci on my vinson and am very impressed.
