Z400 clutch and parking brake

Default Z400 clutch and parking brake

i read in a mag that the z clutch was so easy to pull they antisipated clutch slipping. has anyone every heard of anything like this for a z. also, how does the parking brake work on the z, i have a 03 blaster and i dont think any new yamaha has a working parking brake on them, does the suzuki z400 work good?

Well My freind has a new KFX400 which is the same exact thing as the Z400 and his parking brake works great! and the clutch hasnt slipped yet! everything is SMOOTH on that bike!! great bike!

lt250guy - does E-town mean enumclaw by any chance? I see you bought the LT that was on ebay. That thing is clean we were somewhat going to buy it if it stayed low.

The parking brake usually only works for about 3-4 days on the kfx i know for sure.It dont work all the well when it does work....ya dont need brake anyway,just throttle....lol.....but havent heard of the clutch slipping any......

wildchild660R- Yes I traded my Yamaha YZ 400F dirtbike for that LT that was in Everett, I live on the West Coast about 45 minutes away from the ocean. The LT is very clean and very fast! and so reliable! easy to work on and everything!

this is how the park brake works.push clutch lever all the way out(to the front) push red tab down and thenpull clutch towards you hooking it on the red tab.pull all the way in to realease.
