would a z250 be a good first quad?

 

It would be a great first quad. The automatic clutch makes learning very easy because you dont have to worry about using a clutch. It also has plenty of power to play around with, but doesn't have loads of power like a Z400.

It depends on your size. If you are a smaller person it will work great. The Z 250 is my first quad and it is great for what it was designed for. However I am a little over 6 foot tall and weigh 180 lbs. and i have out grown it already. Thought it would be enough since I was an unexperienced rider. It was enough for the first two weeks.

 

I agree with all the above. If your about 10 to 15 years old yes but then I would get a warrior for my first quad if your older.

you aren't gonna get alot of horsepower or torque with a z250. you can pick up a used 400ex for the price of a brand new z250.
