How much more power with i get with the hot cams intake cam on my kfx400? I know a lot of you Z guys are familiar with them.

 

You'll get an increase.. maybe 2-3hp. By then you'll need a bigger carb. The stocker just doesn't cut it.

I'm gonna try a stock pred carb on the Z. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] 42mm Mikuni CV... should growl pretty good.

 

If you put a intake hotcam along with the DRZ400 dirt bike gaskets a mechanic told me you could gain up to 5 hp with the right jetting and aftermarket filter.

 

bvstone, how much of an increase did you feel?
Is puting a cam in a piped Z about the same power diference as puting a pipe on a stock one?
