Yea it is only for up and down the street right now...even as much as I love tecate's the stock suspention sucksA$$......but I will say this it pulls like you would not belive...I wiegh about 250 and if I make a hard run up the road the seat will actualy be rippled from the G-force on my big a$$......and yes in the day kawasaki was known for having the most powerful single cyl... in fact the 97' kx500 was rated at 68-71 depends on the research...

 

i rode a tecate 250 a few years back. it had been mildy modifed.it was impressive. i'm a little top heavy too, the tecate felt to small for me and the power it had. wider a-arms & axle would be a must. i still enjoyed it. i'm not the biggest honda fan, but the cr500 has been the most powerful engine stock or modifed i've ridden.they seem to get on the power faster than other 500's. any 500 is fast.
