Dial A Jet!?!?!

Dial A Jet!?!?!
It doesn't replace the main jet, it adds finely emulsified fuel into the carb intake to fill the gaps the fuel droplets leave in a standard carb. You need to go down 2 sizes on the main to create a lean condition, the Dial a Jet feeds in fuel because of the pulsations caused by a lean condition, it is totally automatic, and only adds fuel when needed, not at idle,or revving in neutral, only when the engine is under load and needs extra fuel. From what I have read and heard, it works great, and is easily set for different conditions, you change your pipe, couple of clicks, and you are ready, you go to high altitude, you lean it out, no plug fouling, remove the air box lid, make an adjustment, all without having to pull the carb. Hope this helps explain a little, I may have left out the real specifics on how it functions.

Pretty much, you need to drill and tap a hole in the bottom of the bowl to mount the fuel line fitting, or use the overflow outlet, then put a small hole in the air boot or carb mouth to mount the inlet tube. There is a small dial on the tube you set with a small screwdriver to let more or less fuel in.
