If im not mistaken that means the water pump is on it's way out.....(just like when your car water pump is ready to go,It does the same thing out the little hole)
My bike did the same thing when my bro owned it.....
I think he had to replace the impeler<sp> shaft......

yep , the water pump is out . needs to be rebuilt . a big note !!! THE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE IMPELLER ON IS LEFT HANDED THREADS !!! so take it off going clockwise . you will need to replace the shaft , mechanical seal , the oil seal , the ceramic plate , oil seal on the back of the impeller , and the impeller bolt gasket to do it correctly . that should last a long time aftr you do that . hope it helps answer your queston . Don

UKZilla

Don is right on. It is a weep hole that tells you that the mechanical seal is worn out. It does not mean your waterpump is bad!!! Just a safety weep so the waterpump does not over pressure your seal between your tranny oil and H2O.

YES BE CAREFULL WITH THE BOLT IT IS LEFT HANDED TREADS!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO IT DOES NOT TAKE MUCH TO BUST IT OFF yes I am speaking from experience.

It is a easy fix. The washer that is on the water impeller is a must also.

I just fixed this on my other zilla. Any question just ask!!!!

SEE YA

Mike

Captain Spalding? Here are some links that might be useful to you first and second and third. The third one mentions this and it also includes a part number.
Good Luck

I was Just gunna post a topic just like this one.
my question goes a little further tho.
my water pump has been leaking since i got it. it has all new seals, new impeller. all new except the drive shaft it self.
still seeps. i have a new shaft on order right now, as i broke the f&*^%in thing trying to get the impeller off. i dont know why it chose to stick this time....
any way if anyone can tell me how to stop it from constantly seeping i would GREATLY appreciate it
thanks
aaron
