Kawi released the info that Suzuki is getting the P-700. I wonder if Suzuki has any thing of their own up their sleeve.

Damn I was hoping Suzuki would be coming out with it's own design. They already have a couple of the very powerful V-twins in there bikes 650 & 1000. All they had to do is to detune them some and would be motor wise a hell of a quad.

it is somewhat of a disappointment. The P-700 is a good machine, but I think that Suzuki could have done something on their own.

Disapoints me because I thought that if Suzuki did there own they would build something that was way ahead of everyone. I love my Pairie but Suzuki does the fit and finish thing better than anyone else. I wanted to see a 700 Suzuki Everest with and independent rear syspension system that worker but wasn't tippy. Would have had to trade in the Quadmaster and give the pairie to the wife. Oh well might happen in a year or two.

OK guys --I had talked to my Suzuki dealer sometime ago. He told me he had talked to the head guy from Suzuki in charge of distribution. And he said that Suzuki was coming out with 2 new quads one around a 700 size & that it was of total Suzuki design, and nothing to do with Kaw. Now Iwas in a different part of the state of Wis. today & I stopped in at the Suzuki dealer there. And I discussed this topic that cycle news released. He told me somebody got there wires crossed. He [dealer] said that the only thing he knew was that the new machine was of strickly Suzuki design. So that is at least 2 dealers saying the same thing. Maybe cross your fingers there is still hope. I personally have seen & heard of too maney problems with the P650. So this is why I am in hopes of a total new Suzuki design.
