I have a new 03 eiger foot shift, problem: when I change from one gear to another there is a rattle until it gets up to speed also when I slow down an throttle back up. Ive changed to a colder plug and a higer octane fuel, didn' help. It doesn't rattle when its cold, just after it warms up.

I have the same problem with my manual 04 EIGER. I've only had it for a month and it's still in the break-in period. I've got 80 miles on it. I did do some heavy towing during the break in period. Hopefully I didn't screw something up. I'll be taking it in for the first service in the next week or two. I'll ask the dealership to check it out.

 

Both of my '03 Eigers also do this. It sounds sort of like a tiney sound coming from the exhaust or inside the engine.
P.S. Since both of my Eigers do this I do not think that it is the way one has been driven lol, as I am a 14 yr old and my Dad is a 48 yr old.
