Hey 85lt250r,
Look at www.carbparts.com. There is an excellent graphical representation of each jet/adjustment at all throttle openings which will give you an idea how jetting changes work. It's under the Keihin tuning portion but the comments are applicable to your Mikuni as well. There is a mikuni tuning area as well.
