hey i just bought a Z400 maybe a month ago and i was wondering is it necessary do rejet if you ge tan exhaust b/c Suzuki said it wasnt and well i used to own a Polaris s0o im a lil new to racing bikes

You can but all it's going to do is make it louder....very little power gain at all. Do the exhaust and a 155 main jet and it will feel like a totally different bike!
Need help from someone who might know. Ct pipe, 155/25 jet, k&n, no lid, ran very very good. Put in hot cam ( intake only)with this jetting and the z400 leaned way out. Went to 170 main and top was a dog. Went to 160, performance was back but still very lean.......went to 165 and got lean out but was not as responsive on top. Also played with needle setting at 160 but could never get it perfect/ still to the lean side, between 3 and 4. Is the pilot jet to blame or air screw? New to the atv game Thanks
