Rejet, different air filter, if you want pulling power from stock engine drop a tooth on the front sprocket, or speed go up a tooth. Full system exhaust also. If you don't want stock engine spend about 1200-2200 on a big bore kit.

why the full system? why not just a slip on from what i know the full system will give youlike 2 more ponies... at peak and tahts it versus a slip-on.

keep in mind blaster 2 fast that with a 30 hp (or so) vehicle 2 hp is a lot. i would personally go for the full pipe versus slip on. just from what i have read in this forum and i have heard about quite a bit of restriction in the stock header, look by were your right shin is when seated and you will see indentations in the pipe. this will cause restriction.
later sparx

BRITROOSTER, Yes, the very one.

Well, the latest is that i brought the Z400 today and i also brought a Duncan Racing FAT BOY 4 Full exhaust system and jets.

I pick up the bike on Sunday, can't wait.....

I shall have to look at changing the front A arms and front shocks now, as well as fitting an induction kit.

will fitting the exhaust and the induction kit make a big difference to the bike????

So far I have done a Yoshimura Slip On (which I am wanting to get rid of so I can get a full system), a FMF Jet Kit and It puts out enogh power to keep up with my buddie's Raptor (which has a White Brothers R4 and jetting changes). But I'm always looking for more power, currently I am looking into either the Yoshimura Big Bore Digger Kit, or one of the Duncan Racing National Kits. Right now the Yoshi kit is looking good cause it comes with everything but a carb and is almost $400 cheaper even if you get a Kehihn 39mm FCR Carb. This is just some info on some of the stuff out there.

I got the CT pipe and noss machine K&N filter set up. Very good power gains over stock, would strongly recomend CT pipe.

Has no one fitted the 44 kit and cam kit yet?

I have heard that the performance gains do not out weight the reliability problems.....

love to hear if this is true

ronnies has really good priced cams im goign to get the intake and exhaust from them i think if i dont just buy akit all together.... could someone give me the websites for all the diff big bore kits for the z400/kfx400 i cant seem to find any of them i am especially interested in the yoshi one.... i am planning on the yoshi full comp instead of pro to save money... its almost as good though right or is the comp worth 700?
