Default Please tell me someone else has done this! (LT250R related)

Doh!!! I went to remove my seat and completely yanked the cable assembly out! How do I remove the seat without the cable assembly?

Umm.... I think you can get you hand/ fingers up in there to move the mechanism. I have done it but it's not too easy....the least you can do it is try it.

one of the springs came out of the seat holding assembly so I had to pry the seat out with a big screwdriver. I tried to move the mechanism with my fingers but of course that didn't work. if it's just the cable that's broke then I see no reason why that wouldn't work.

i need to make a better seat clamp for my LT. it should be a pretty easy task.

I'll give it a try this weekend. I haven't had the chance to mess with it yet...
