I got a problem with my lt. I was riding it one day with no problem and it just stald on me, and i havent been able to get it to fire agian. i changed the spark plug but no matter how much i try, i'm not able to get any spark out of it. This just happened right out of the blue. What could be the problem?

 

CDI or stator ...get an OHMS reader and check it out. could just be the spark plug cap is gone

 

You could also have a bad pickup coil.

The pick-up coil is part of the stator.

 

Thanks guys, i'm going to check it out tomorrow, hope i have it ready for this sundays race. I got another question, i want to put some money into this bike, and i would like to hear some suggestions about what you would put on it to make it a first place winner. Hope to hear some good ones

 

Well what does your bike have on it?Then we can make sugestions from there.

 

I'm pretty sure its all stock except its ported and polished, thats all about all that i know of. I got the bike off a family member who went to prison, and i cant talk to him to ask him what kind of mods it has. So i guess just think of it as being stock.
