Hi, I considering purchaseing a new ATV. Since this is my 1st purchase, do people pay msrp or is there negiation like on cars? What is a good price to pay for an 03 or 04 Vinson?

 

Hi Pep. I have an 03 Vinson i purchased about 2 months ago. Its a great machine, i think you would be very pleased with it. DO NOT pay msrp. If the dealer tries to bs you go somewhere else. My '03 Auto was 5,199. After i got the Warn 2.5ci Winch, Tax, Title, and Prep i paid 6,200 out the door. Hopefully you'll get some more responses and can get a good idea what new vinsons are goin for[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

IMO, great first owner 4x4 quad.
Mine was my first purchase too but I had ridden quads for about 5 years.
I've heard 5200 - 6000, which is a pretty big price gap.
I would go to at least 3-4 dealers to check prices.
BTW paid 5500 for mine.

 

My first quad, excellent machine, but then i have nothing to base it on ...paid 5708 no tax, no winch ... 8/30

 

Sorry by the way it was a red auto, by the way make sure you get out the door pricing, when I called around to ads in the Cycle Trader for 5099 manual, and 5399 auto, none of the prices included prep fees, document fees, and assembly (they would'nt sell unassembled) paid 5708 with 7.5% NC tax 6107 total...alos used Suzuki 6.95 for 60 months

 

Earlier in the year, Suzuki had $600 dealer cash on the Vinson in addition to the normal dealer discounts. That is how folks were getting them so cheap. That promotion is long gone, so the best you can do on an auto right now is going to be higher than some have paid in the past.

Warsteiner- Where do you ride? I will be moving to the Weddington/Waxhaw area in 3 weeks. Just bought a house there and will be there soon. Will be looking for a riding buddy also. Please let me know if there are any trails close to home.
