My battery drained down to where my 96 KQ would not start with the electric start but it came to life with the slightest pull start. I just drove like that for a while then it started to run crappy (no power back fire stall). Took the carb apart cleaned it checked vacuum lines.nothing to serious. I was feeling lazy so I put some jumper cables to my car to use the elec start.Fired up instantly revved up fine idled good. as soon as I pull the jumpers it starts to struggle to stay alive. Does there have to be a charged battery in the KQ to run?
